All Prophets Music Video Shoot

Two weekends ago we shot our first music video out in the desert, for the song All Prophets in Their Houses. Alec Contestabile directed it, and Yuki Noguchi was the director of photography. Check out their other stuff, because they are awesome. We’ve all got newfound respect for filmmakers after that too, that was the most exhausting ten hours we’ve ever been through. The craft services table was great though.

Here’s a picture of where we shot it, and one Scott took while we were filming:

The video will be finished sometime around a month from now, when Alec gets back from Korea.

It’s been a little while since we’ve posted any news because we’ve been taking some time to write new material. We’ve got one new song ready to go, though not yet recorded, and three to five more in the works. One of those will be released this summer. That’s all for now.

Feature on The Deli’s LA Blog

So this is pretty exciting. The Deli’s LA website just referred to us using the phrase “punk rock has a new name.” They continue,

“Straight on ‘Til Morning” is eleven tracks of great music and the kind of melodic punk that put SoCo’s scene on the map.

We’ve been listening to their new LP here and can only think one thing: punk is back! I mean, it never left or anything. But Honest Iago is definitely a vital supplement to the music scene.
